I was traversing the "My Account" area of the ASSR website and noticed the following under the heading of "Expiring Roles".

What role specfically is expiring???
ASSR, can you shed a little light on the above?
So, when I never got an answer from ASSR to my question above, I figured I'd wait to see what "role would expire".
As I figured, all purchased online content (the whole series), is no longer available for viewing. My only question is why? I don't recall it ever being pointed out that a year after purchase online content is no longer available.
To be fair, I do own the DVD's so I am not left out in the dark (so to speak). What happens to the people that purchase the online content only??? Are they out of luck after a year is up???
Access to the videos defaults to expiring after a certain period of time since the point is you can download them and therefore should not need to 'keep' downloading them. If anyone needs extra time we of course can and do reactivate them. No one ever loses them, as such, there's simply a default time limit on how long people have to download them. Sorry we didn't reply to this sooner.
Cool.... That makes sense. I did download all the segments prior to the DVD's release.
