Hey All,
Really didn't know where to post, I would love for you all to look at my website, www.GroovySoul.com and see what we are doing on a shoe-string budget. On the site, I have an example of recording a 62 bell, Hand Bell Choir; this may be of some interest!
I love the site and will be using it regularly!
Thanks!
Kevin

Like what you're doing - and this is a fine place to post for the moment. In due course we may open up some additional, specific application forums.
I actually created a home studio for myself with the help of a new material and product called Structural Plastics . I actually made a small studio in my basement . I think that using this product will help make one of the most sound proof and very acoustic form of home studio . I think that we could even record a 62 bell , hand bell choir at once , with very less disturbance .
This weekend I had a recording session with a children’s choir. Recording choirs for churches can be a really great way to expand your home studio recording experience. It’s not a terribly difficult session to run. A lot of times a good pair of microphones and preamps will do the trick. My problem was headphones. Even in a professional recording facility, chances are there isn’t an endless supply of headphones. I found an article by shared files site describing one man's experience when he was using an FM transmitter! It sent the signal out on an FM channel of my choosing. All the kids had to do was dial in 107.9 FM, and we were in business! Hope someone will find it useful too)
