I don't know if there is an "official" viewing order,
but I would start with something you know fairly well,
so you can gauge the quality and depth of the information.
Personally I have found that each segment has something
of interest, even if everything is something I am already
familiar with.
I think it is in the right order,eq,compression,gate,reverb,delay etc.. I mix commonly in that order otherwise you can get scrambled. I have a song I'm working on and after each lesson I apply to the mix and it's coming together quite remarkable.
The order that the Sections run in, from DVDs 1-3, was our attempt at a logical viewing order; going from an explanation of the main tools, to the main techniques, to the application of both on actual recordings, to a mix where all such come into play. For those who'd like to get a real feel for how AP thinks and works that order-of-view should unlock most of the mysteries!
As a (non-linear) DVD, though, we hope that people will review and return to any Section as and when they wish. Each Section tries to stand on its own; simply referring to other material or techniques discussed in other Sections when appropriate.
