I'm not sure of the cause, but the MP4 videos will not sync to my iPhone. According to various sources, this could be due to either the bitrate or resolution. In the future, this would be nice functionality to have, even if it requires a second version (iPhone compat) for download.

iPhone/iPod compatible

You are right, these video's are not compatible to the format that iPhone or iPod can play. They have to be formatted with antoher screenwidth. It would be nice if you would create extra downloads which are compatible with iPhone!

iPhone / iPod

Thanks for that information. It was certainly not our intention 'not' to be compatible and we'll look into this right away.

reformatting

Here is a temporary work around until the files are available.

i have successfully used HANDBRAKE to reformat the files.
select a SOURCE file, the set the default output file location.
you will notice under the PICTURE tab the video size is 1024 x 576 and
ANAMORPHIC is set as STRICT. these are the problems.
select the down arrow next to strict and set it as NONE.
select the IPOD/IPHONE format that works for your media player and in the top of the Handbrake window click START. wait for the encoding to finish and then review your transcoded video. caution: you may have to play with the settings to get this to "look" good on your media player.
Hope this helps someone, i transcode for my droid phone.

Yes, as another user stated:

Yes, as another user stated: Handbrake did the job easily enough. SO, no big deal, just a handiness issue. Thanks!

Handbrake to iPod Touch

Yep, it was easy. Downloaded handbrake on my mini and used the iPhone/iPod Touch template. Dragged the converted files into my library. Hit sync and woohoo - AP on the small screen.
