T Bone Burnett has urged other musicians, producers, and engineers to rid of digital and stay only in the analog realm including the promotion of only vinyl. As much as I love analog..this seems extreme..Do you feel there is a happy medium?

Thanks

Expanded frequency response

Probably a bit extreme, however there seems to be some merit for expanded frequency response, rather than brickwalling at 20kHz.

Rupert Neve has some interesting comments on this in this third part of a lecture

I tried the square wave test after a conversation with Rupert back in 1984 and was surprised at the perception of the higher order harmonics, well above the audible hearing range.
