I have set up a small home studio and I am at the point of (calibrating monitors/room?). I have a SPL and Sound Check 2. I am not sure what it is I am checking/analyzing, the (room, the monitors or both).

Can someone give me a better idea of what plotting a responce cure will help me with. (adjusting monitors, room treatment, or Eq)?

A little confused or maybe a lot :-)
