i'm an owner of ptle ...since 6.xxwhatever....i'm now on 8.01

i've used

1. the original mbox,

2. the mboxpro (which i keep in china....ha ha, business in canada...wife and child in china...yup...it's a long monthly commute...but i digress)

and,

3. a digi 003rack

i can see that certain folks in this vid series are using ptle in their home studios

very cool to know that what i've been playing with is actually being used by the pros

now to digress further

i'm currently compiling a protools tdm mixplus3 system..so that i can mix in surround

any warnings about my approach into yesterday's teck would be greatly welcome

to boil it down into a question...

alan, is it viable for purposes of mixing in 5.1 to construct a protools mixplux3 system..today

just wondering/wandering
