The #1 song and album in the US at the moment has a song/chorus that is/has the same tempo, key, chords, and aspects of the melody as Eye In The Sky (an Alan Parsons Project track, for anyone uninitiated). Anyone else feel the similarity?

Lady A/Eye In The Sky

Last night I was watching American Idol with my wife and Lady Antebellum was one of the featured performers. I don't listen to the radio much anymore and outside of hearing their name didn't know anything about them and was not aware of this song. That said however, the song they performed (I don't even know the title), is the one you are referring to. I almost immediately was able to identify the song with Eye In The Sky. It wasn't even a reach..........

AP Time, PF Us & Them

I've always wondered about AP Time and Pink Floyd Us & Them.

I know AP engineered DSOTM.. is there any info Alan can share on the writing of AP Time ?
