Has anyone else experienced glitches in the downloadable MP4 content, specifically on computer generated content (i.e. example of a moving coil speaker, Alan's greenscreen stuff in the computers segment)? I've posted three examples here for reference.

I've only watched the series up through 'Monitoring', but have noticed a few other errors:

  • Cardioid is misspelled as "cardiod" multiple times in the microphones video
  • The files described in the ITB vs OTB summing segment are actually 48 kHz, not 44.1 as noted in the video
  • Also, the OTB sum is recorded approximately 2dB lower, making an A/B comparison favor the ITB mix as it is louder; it's also slightly misaligned from the ITB mix
  • Other than that, I've been really enjoying the series so far.

I did notice some strange

I did notice some strange glitches when viewing them in a PC, however when I put them on the iPad they run perfectly glitch-free.

ASSR???

Did anybody get the note about the typos and problems that I posted 2 weeks ago? I'd hate to see these errors make it to the final DVD pressing.

Reading you

Yes, yes, and yes, I think are the answers to your questions! We have been very grateful to those who have spotted and who have notified us regarding errors in the videos. We do believe all have been corrected on the final DVDs. New corrected files will also appear on the site within the next two weeks.

We certainly do read the forums and in fact will be making the forums an ever bigger part of the ASSR landscape now that the packaged DVD is completed.

We hope that this site will continue to develop into a lively and on-going platform for questions, answers, ideas and more on recording.
