I took all the quizzes, and was "approved" for all of them; I think it would be cool if there was some form of certification for completing the "course". A certificate on my wall in my home studio would be just awesome! I would even be willing to take a comprehensive test for that kind of certification... :-)
Also, I earned all of these "coupon codes" after taking the quizzes. What can I do with them?

Certification

Thanks to the above posters - and in fact to quite a few others - for this suggestion. We have indeed been looking at this. We're 'still' looking at it, too, so too early to provide any details but just to let you know that this is definitely being considered.

???

@ pizzyflavin:
I was only suggesting a certificate for completing the quizzes for this video series - not something that would equate to a degree or a professional certification. I'm surprised that you would be so dismissive of this idea, especially since ASSR is considering it. If I were pursuing a career in audio engineering/sound technology, then perhaps I "should" enter a school or facility; I just don't recall asking for your advice...

Not sure what pizzy's problem

Not sure what pizzy's problem is but it looks like the powers that be doesn't agree with him. I already have a profession in nursing. I just do this for fun.

I absorbed more knowledge in this program

Faster than any book I've read or other dvd or internet audio instruction if anything is noble enough to give a certificate ASSR is . Alan makes it very comprehensible and more understanding for me to learn all about sound recording. He more often puts things in a musicians perspective ,for me thats GREAT because I am a musician and most people who are wanting to learn recording are musicians as well. some professional engineers would suggest a musician to stay out of recording and maybe some should, but I have a new passion for recording and as a byproduct it compliments my musicianship. you could say it's made me a better sounding player and that can influence the rest of your band.
I know that after I finish this program I will be wanting more.the insights from other pro producers and engineers is awesome indeed. Alan if you are in Nashville anytime soon id like to request a producer engineer interview if you can get Michael Wagener I'm sure he'd do it for sushi.
